Low-Income Home Accessibility Program
Equity CDC successfully completed accessibility modifications and rehabilitations of 9 low-income, single-family, owner-occupied homes as a direct recipient of Amy Young Barrier Removal (AYBR) Program funding from the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA). The work was provided as a grant to the homeowners and was conducted in Val Verde, Maverick and Williamson Counties. This program service is an activity that accomplishes our exempt purpose and fulfills our mission. The funding for the work is provided in the form of grants from a unit of government for the benefit of individual, low-income homeowners and their private residences, not for the direct benefit government itself; therefore, there is no generation of revenue to be reported here as it is considered to be a contribution (government grant) and not revenue derived from program services. Also, there are no grants to be reported here as a subcategory of Equity CDC's program services expenses as Equity CDC did not make any grants in FY 2022. Equity CDC only administered government contributions in FY 2022.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2022 – Dec 31, 2022Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$159.7KColonia Self-Help Housing Program
