Neighborhood Outreach Program
Neighborhood Outreach Program: Provide home repair services to low-income elderly and disabled individuals and families. We are especially addressing code violations for homeowners and rehabbing abandoned homes for homeownership. Hire neighborhood residents to learn home repair skills and help maintain their neighborhood. Maintain a garden an orchard honeybees and chickens on our property and partner with the neighborhood in maintaining a community garden. Also provide a curbside compost program to our Pendleton Heights neighbors. Retreat Program: Organize and hold retreats for faith-based service that provides community outreach primarily through home repair services to low-income elderly and disabled individuals and families. It also provides education and services in sustainable practices such as organic food production composting resource conservation and efficiency.
