BAC participated in the RPS and BioMAT proceeding (R. 15-02-020) at the California Public Utilities Commission;BAC participated in proceedings at the California Air Resources Board to develop the states Sustainable Freight Strategy, the Forest Carbon Plan, and the Short-Lived Climate Pollutant Strategy;BAC participated in the Governors Tree Mortality Task Force and its Bioenergy Working Group, and helped to pass SB 840 to address interconnection issues for forest BioMAT projects;BAC participated in development of the Governors 5 Climate Pillars campaign;BAC worked with the California Council on Science and Technology to provide materials relevant to pipeline biogas standards;BAC helped several individual members to secure Cap & Trade, EPIC, AB 118 and other public funding;BAC sponsored AB 2313 (Williams, 2016) and AB 2202 (Williams, 2016), which was incorporated into SB 840 and both were enacted in 2016;BAC helped develop amendments to SB 1383 (Lara, 2016) to increase biogas and biomethane production in California.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2017 – Dec 31, 2017Source990No causes providedNo populations provided––Waste to Energy and Biomethane Initiatives
