  • Church Planting and Refugee Support

    First Evangelical Church in Athens is the main Presbyterian church in Greece. We partner with them in two main ways:a.Church planting: We help them form new churches in Athens in different neighborhoods. The most significant of the church plants is one in a neighborhood called Exarchia. This is an area of Athens known as the anarchist capital of the world because it has a high concentration of residents who hold this world view. We have managed to establish a vibrant and growing church in this neighborhood that is impacting the residents in positive ways. The church also responded to the refugee crisis that affected Europe towards the end of the last decade. We assisted the response financially.b.Houses of Hope: First Evangelical Church, with donors from America, purchased several apartments in Athens around 2016 and used them to help refugees from Syria and other Middle Eastern countries.

  • Sybil's Children's Program

    Sybils Childrens ProgamThis organization cares for vulnerable children in a town called Mucatine in Mozambique. The organization does so by sponsoring orphan kids and by running a private school in the town. Individuals connected to Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church adopt the children (most of whom have lost their parents to HIV / Aids). The church, as key donor, provides funding for the founder, Sybil and some of her staff.
