Family Hope House, Inc. provides psychotherapy services for parents and children who have experienced maltreatment and neglect, including (a) families of foster children who need to navigate the complexities of raising foster children, maintaining relationships with biological parents, and developing a cohesive family unit, (b) families who have adopted children who need specialized, evidence based treatment for special needs as they pertain to the complexities of adoption, (c) families with guardianship placements who, like foster families, face challencges of navigating the needs of the entire system without systemic support of DHS to assist in determining what is best for the child(ren), and (d) families vulnerable to out of home care due to a wide variety of risk factors.
