Transitional Support for Court-Involved Youth
Through November 2017, Reset's residential program offered an alternative to incarceration for court-involved young men between the ages of 18 to 24. We served young men who had been referred by the Alameda and San Francisco County courts, and provided them with housing, transportation, case management, academic, career, medical and mental health support, prosocial activities, and transitional aftercare upon graduation. These services were provided through our residential campus, which was comprised of a leased learning center and leased residential housing in the San Francisco Bay Area. In November 2017, Reset suspended our program and operations. We worked with our court partners to transition remaining students to housing, employment, school, and wellness services. We continue to remain connected to our students, providing transitional case management and individualized resources as needed, including court advocacy and regular check-ins in an effort to promote their continued stability and success. While we are not currently accepting new applications or referrals to our program or serving students at this time, a scaled-down team continues to work diligently to secure a new and viable property, and build upon the lessons learned and meaningful progress that has been made in order to accept a new cohort of young men in the future and continue to advance our mission.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2017 – Dec 31, 2017Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$1.3M
