STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS: Justin Carr Wants World Peace Foundation (JCWWPF) awarded seven scholarships in 2023 ranging from $50 to $1,000. $2,600 was awarded to six students evaluated and recommended by the JCWWPF Scholarship committee. A honors student at Harvard-Westlake School (Justin Carr's Alma Mater) was also awarded a $350 scholarship. STUDENT HEART SCREENING: Justin Carr Wants World Peace Foundation (JCWWPF) organized the heart screening of forty students as a part of an annual swim meet competition held at Harvard-Westlake School (Justin Carr's Alma Mater). The Swim Meet is held annually in Justin's honor. JUSTIN'S RACE FOR PEACE: In commemoration of the tenth anniversary of Justin's passing and to promote American Heart Month, a virtual walk,run,jog,bike,exercise-a-thon was held in February 2023. Participant's registered for the Event and were provided with a customized t-shirt, runner's bid and informational handouts on heart-health and exercise. The Event website also had tips and statistics on heart-health.
