  • Community Financial Assistance and Education

    The Foundation of VCCU exists to provide financial assistance and education to local community partners. Our giving emphasizes:The UnderservedBeautification or Preservation of EnvironmentHealth & Well-BeingBimonthly board meetings and grant award ceremonies continued via zoom and in person with no interruptions. In 2022, we awarded a total of $97,500 to the following organizations: Turning Point Foundation, DRAGG INC, Brain Injury Center of Ventura County, Casa Pacifica Centers for Children and Families, Womens Economic Ventures, NAMI- Ventura County, Westminster Free Clinic, House Farm Workers, Bike Ventura, Parkinsons Foundation, Reel Guppy Outdoors Inc., Fit 4 the Cause Inc., Ventura Family YMCA, The Coalition for Family Harmony, For the Need, National Disaster Search Dog Foundation, Andrea Grace Soter- Simonson Memorial Foundation, Ojai Unified School District Family Fund, Housing Trust Fund Ventura County, and Community Action of Ventura CountyOur major event in 2022 was our 11th Annual CAN-tree drive. Total donations collected were $13,659.73 and we awarded all proceeds to Food Share Ventura County
