Mental Health First Aid Training
Mental Health First Aid - Since implementing MHFA in 2022, our team of Instructors have trained more than 640 adults in Youth and Adult MHFA curricula. Out of the more than 640 adults, 519 are school employees from across the state including administrators, aids, teachers, bus drivers and those identified within the district as important roles in our youth's life. Transportation opportunities for residents include, MTS Token Donation Program, Travel Training, Transportation to Employment and GOMadison Volunteer Transportation. In 2022 the Doula Partnership has trained 22 new birth doulas, 8 in Madison County,to support those pregnant in our counties.We have had success in receiving multiple MOUs from local hospitals and organizations to receive referrals to begin promoting our Doula services.
