First Program Service Accomplishments Description - this has been elongated as the beginning of the description was cut off in the virtual version, so therefore appeared as if it would not be included in filing: Our students come from a variety of backgrounds, and many are dealing with instability and trauma. We have been able to go above and beyond to fill in the gaps with our kids' emotional growth! Students struggling receive individualized plans to help them thrive at program. We spend time every week focusing on Social and Emotional Learning. Students who are struggling are also able to work one-on-one with staff when needed. This may mean stepping out to talk or color or simply get a hug. We also spend tons of time working on our students' relationships with one another, helping to cultivate healthy friendships that provide a space for our students to be themselves! This year, we have been able to provide for a lot of basic needs that our families have struggled with. Meals and snacks are provided every day as well as food sent home over breaks to help supplement the lack of meals coming from school and LAL. We have also been able to provide things like clothing, and Christmas presents to relieve family needs. But one of the things we are most proud of this year was the relationships we built with our parents. This year, we were able to deepen relationships with parents, providing a space for them to bring us problems they may not have shared with us in the past and giving us the chance to help provide and find solutions, removing stressors for parents and providing stability for our students!GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJul 1, 2023 – Jun 30, 2024Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$8.9K
