Free Transportation for Health Services
Through its transportation program MANA provides free transport to community members to medical appointment that include general checkups, screening, vaccinations, regular visits, chronic diseases, illlness treatments and mental, social health services. This program also includes transportaion for general assistance involving appointments regarding health insurance, rental assistance, grocery shopping, food pantries and workforce development training. StrengthenME is a program MANA provides for emotional support to immigrants and community members affected by individual or collective trauma due to their immigrant journey or other life stressors using intentional peer support model in the form of one-on-one or sessions with MANA Wellness Partners, peer-led support groups.
