Tzedek America was founded in 2014 on the idea that there was a better way to inspire and engage young people to both their Judaism and their passions around Tikun Olam. Originally operating a successful gap year program, TA pivoted and established the Social Justice Day Trip & Multi-Day programing in 2017 to address the challenge of Jewish education, which ends for most students at a 7th grade level and now, additionally, Mitzvah Project Central serving the growing number of Jewish Youth and communities wanting to engage in a more meaningful B’nai Mitzvah. Tzedek America transforms lives, strengthens Jewish identity, and changes the world through immersive tikun olam experiences.
