In 2023, On Site Opera presented two live site-specific opera productions: Il tabarro staged at the South Street Seaport and Song of the Nightingale, a new opera commissioned in partnership with Arts Brookfield. OSO also instituted a new summer concert series of two unstaged opera concerts offered for free to the public at the West Side Community Garden.
