    MOVE Texas Action Fund is a grassroots nonprofit organization building the social, political, and cultural power of young people in Texas through civic engagement, leadership development, and issue advocacy. In 2020, we registered 50,000 young people across the state of Texas to vote, delivered 1.4 million pieces of mail, sent over 150,000 peer-to-peer text messages, and made over 42 million digital impressions with 600,000 calls made in the election cycle. Additionally, we passed at least 60 pro-democracy policies in Harris, Travis, Dallas, Bexar, Cameron, and other counties, and we engaged and trained at least 1,800 young Texans to serve as poll workers and enhance their leadership skills with trainings on the principles of organizing and plug them into state and local government.

    MOVE Texas Action Fund is a grassroots, nonpartisan, nonprofit organization building power in underrepresented youth communities through civic engagement, leadership development, and issue advocacy. Together, we are building a Texas that believes in young people and invests in their leadership. Our work is centered around educating and engaging young people with the issues that impact them directly while building the portable organizing skills that young people will need to engage their communities.MOVE Texas is committed to generational, transformational change. Our base is young people between the ages of 18 - 35, living in the regions where weve built civic infrastructure through staff capacity and evergreen programs. We primarily work to engage first-time voters, a demographic weve had great success engaging.
