    The annual Austin Spring Tango Festival, a 3-day event, is our major activity. This year, the Festival included about 325 participants, which matched our goal. We provided classes from world-famous instructors, many hours of social dancing practice, and food for all of our attendees. Feedback was highly positive.

  • Program 2 [2024]

    Our 2nd largest program was the "Practica Assistance Program", which provides free individualized instruction for Tango dancers. All of the active Tango teachers in Central Texas participate in the program, which served about 10 dancers/week, or 500 total lessons for the year.

  • Program 3 [2024]

    Our 3rd largest program is the maintenance of a comprehensive online calendar for every public Tango event in the Austin area. Every event organizer uses this calendar, as do members of the general public who are interested in Tango. Cash costs are minimal, but maintenance is performed by our volunteers.
