In 2023, our organization continued to focus its efforts on the Southwest LA Recovery Project for SmallBusinesses, Workers, Families, and Individuals. We reached over 50 disaster impacted clients and workshop attendees who needed our assistance. We worked in a case management approach for some impacted clients and provided educational services to others who needed help. Some professional services included disaster case management, workforce development, training, education,social services, support groups, business coaching, assistance with business filings, counseling small businesses and nonprofits, grant support, prayer partners, housing, referrals to collaborators, and other services.In a new small project, we reached more than our 10 required clients in the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury,Community Services Block Grant Project to provide Business Assistance and Employment Assistance to low-income Calcasieu residents to help them improve competencies and move towards self-sufficiency.
