THE UNION REPRESENTS WORKERS IN BUILDING TRADES, RAILROAD, PRODUCTION, BUS AND MASS TRANSIT AND SHIPYARD INDUSTRIES OF THE UNITED STATES AND CANADA. THE PURPOSE OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO ENSURE A COOPERATIVE EFFORT DIRECTED TO FULLY DEVELOP AND DEMONSTRATE THE POSSIBILITIES OF OUR TRADES IN VARIOUS FIELDS OF INDUSTRY AND TO PROTECT WORKERS RIGHTS AS MEMBERS.
