Youth Shelter and Support Services
Shelter - We provided 24 7 365 housing access to basic needs case management supervision activities and follow-up care to youth ages 10-19. A total of 31 youth stayed at our shelter known as YES House and we provided screening consultation and referrals to approximately 150 community partners families and youth in need. Services to youth in our shelter are tailored to individual needs. 4b. Transitional Housing - We provided supportive programming to young adults ages 17-24 who were experiencing homelessness prior to this opportunity. Program participants are assisted with applying to transitional housing units operated by local community partners. Community Based Programming- In 2024 YES offered several community-based projects to at-risk youth in our community including life skills classes recreational activities and outings weekly youth and young adult NA meetings case management Youth Action Council Home Share Project and Violence Intervention.
