TO ADVANCE THE ASSET MANAGEMENT INDUSTRY IN BOSTON AND MASSACHUSETTS AND THEREBY TO POSITIVELY AFFECT THE ECONOMY OF BOSTON AND MASSACHUSETTS; TO ADVOCATE FAIR AND EQUITABLE PUBLIC POLICIES AFFECTING THE INTERESTS OF ORGANIZATIONS IN THE ASSET MANAGEMENT INDUSTRY AND THEIR EMPLOYEES; TO INCULATE JUST AND EQUITABLE PRINCIPLES IN THE INDUSTRY, AND; TO ACQUIRE, POSESS AND DISSEMINATE USEFUL INFORMATION TO AND FOR ORGANIZATIONS IN THE INDUSTRY; AND GENERALLY TO PROMOTE THE WELFARE OF ASSET MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATIONS AND THEIR EMPLOYEES AND THE PROSPERITY OF THE COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS.
