In 2024 Light On A Lamp Stand Inc. advanced its mission to empower underserved poor communities through education and health programs by serving 300 children and their families in the slums of Islamabad Pakistan. We provided access to quality education through offered online courses to support remote learning ensuring educational continuity distributed free books to enhance literacy. Additionally we delivered healthy nutritious meals and snacks to all 300 children addressing food insecurity and supporting their physical and academic growth. This program reached low income families who lived in the slums with measurable outcomes including 85% improvement in reading proficiency.
