Veteran Resource Fair
Veteran Support - In 2022, the VHF hosted the largest Veteran event in Western North Carolina, the Veterans Resource Fair, which included 28 different Veteran-centric organizations and over 300 attendees. We expanded our produce donation locations to include the Veterans Restoration Quarters, a 180-bed homeless shelter for male Veterans. We also provided breakfast to 93 Veterans and their escorts for the Blue Ridge Honor Flight to Washington, D.C. The VHF also hired a part-time North Carolina Certified Peer Support Specialist who worked with 4 Veterans to establish individual goals.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2022 – Dec 31, 2022Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$166.8KProduce Donation and Farming
