HEALTH EQUITY PROGRAM: Health equity stands as a crucial pillar in the organization's dedication to tackling disparities in healthcare access, outcomes, and the social determinants of health. Advocating for policies and programs that champion fair access to high-quality healthcare services, regardless of socioeconomic background, race, ethnicity, or other factors, is at the core of its mission. Through collaborative efforts with healthcare providers, community organizations, and policymakers, the organization strives to dismantle barriers to healthcare and propel initiatives that enhance health outcomes for marginalized populations. This commitment reflects a holistic approach, recognizing that addressing systemic inequalities is integral to fostering a healthier and more equitable society. ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROGRAM:Adelante is committed to supporting Spanish-speaking entrepreneurs. To that end, we are proud to offer comprehensive entrepreneurship and business education programs specifically designed to meet the unique needs and challenges faced by this community. By providing Spanish-language instruction and culturally sensitive resources, we aim to empower these entrepreneurs with the skills, knowledge, and confidence they need to successfully navigate today's challenging business landscape. Our goal is to help Spanish-speaking entrepreneurs not just survive but thrive, creating sustainable businesses that will support their families, strengthen their communities, and contribute to the economic recovery of our nation.Entrepreneurship and business technical education courses provide individuals with a strong foundation in essential business practices, legal requirements, compliance regulations, and digital tools. These courses also offer comprehensive instruction on financial literacy, including QuickBooks, and access to capital. Additionally, our program includes the Sal and Pimienta food truck program, which equips aspiring food truck entrepreneurs with the skills and knowledge they need to successfully launch and operate their businesses while complying with all necessary regulations. DIGITAL PROGRAM:The Adelante Digital Program, launched by Adelante Community Development, targets the digitalization needs of Colorado's Latino business sector in the aftermath of COVID-19. This initiative seeks to enhance the digital participation of these businesses, capitalizing on findings from Stanford's 2022 report, which highlighted the proficiency of Latino-owned enterprises in utilizing digital strategies to boost their market visibility. The program advocates for digital investments, comprehensive training, and collaborative networks among businesses, positioning itself as a pivotal modernization force within the state's economy. It is dedicated to augmenting productivity and fostering business expansion through digital advancements. The mission is to support Latino businesses in navigating and flourishing in the digital economy, with a vision of cultivating a thriving and technologically cohesive Latino business community, surmounting hurdles like digital literacy and limited resources. The program's objectives are centered around delivering digital transformation resources and know-how to raise the digital competence of Latino businesses. Under this program, Adelante has introduced the 'Kit Digital' initiative. Its principal goals are to: Provide information and educational resources on digital transformation to Latino businesses. Assist Latino businesses in assessing their current level of digital maturity. Implement digitalization and technical enhancement processes with professional and qualified digital services. In 2023, Adelante supported 119 businesses with digital consultings and 12 businesses worked with Adelante on their first digital program. Adelante sees this as a social enterprise for the organization in the future.
