Mentorship and Design Education Program
Each student is paired with a mentor-volunteer with a visual design background. Classes are overseen by an experienced special education teacher, and offer an additional hands-on creative activities in an unplugged makerspace area. The student and mentor work from initial sketches through design software. The students complete the class with an expanded knowledge of software design tools along with intangibles that are for broader and more important: a collaborative experience, sharing and presentation opportunities, conversation, personal connections, and most of all a sense of accomplishment.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2022 – Dec 31, 2022Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$74KCreative Workshop Series with Mentors
