    US+U Art Classes with Teaching ArtistsOur Studio Workshop Series are Youth and Senior Classes offered at the gallery to the community free of charge or for a small fee that includes required materials.ARTIST-IN-RESIDENCE PROGRAMUS+U offers a 3-6 month residency to artists working in painting, sculpture, drawing, video/interdisciplinary media or any combination of the aforementioned.SIDEWALK TALK SERIESIn this informal series, artists pick other artists whose work interests them and ask them to hangout via zoom and talk. The artist who initiates the convo could work in a similar medium, or just be interested in the other artists creative approach and want to know more. Each video will feature stills of artwork paired with the dialogue that transpires. Its a nice behind the scenes look at how artists relate to one another.

    GRANT FOR EXHIBITION & CORRESPONDING WORKSHOPS FOR COMMNUITY. -Form Meets Function: Exploring the Intersection of Art & Design. This exhibition highlights artists that explore the boundaries between art and design-work that challenges the traditional notion that design should emphasize its utility over aesthetic or other functional considerations. The show explores the concept of functional and wearable art the significance of these art forms in the contemporary art world and highlight artists who have transformed a traditional approach some even into to a commodified version. Artwork featured range- functional art wearable art and other artisan work to include street wear wearable sculpture textiles upcycling assemblage furniture making home products jewelry accessories & footwear

  • Printmaking Workshops and Exhibit

    PRINTMAKING PROGRAM GRANT - SERIES OF WORKSHOPS + CONCLUDING EXHIBIT OF WORK -workshops 1 Cyanotype 2 Charcoal Printmaking w Gelli Plates Participants will work with charcoal on gelli plates to create charcoal transfers. Drawings will be traced from images selected by artists or hand drawn. 3 Posca Marker Collograph Mobiles Participants will use Posca Markers on Gelli Plates to create monotypes that we will then use to construct a 3 dimensional hanging mobile . This series culminated with an exhibition of the work
