  • Residential Internship and Community Support

    - Our residential internship/discipleship program program continues to provide housing, free Bible school, and ministry training to men coming out of lifedominating addiction. - Anthony Cataldo graduated the three year missionary training we offer through New Life Bible Institute and relocated to California. He was an intern with usfor four years. We have had a total of five residential interns at NHP this year. - We began a bi-weekly support group / Bible study at the homeless shelter on Woodland Ave. We have been able to assist residents in finding employmentand several have attended studies at New Hope Philly. - A young man named Reggie moved from the homeless shelter into the residential internship program on December 1st 2024. - Our 2024 Thanksgiving outreach on November 23rd was our largest ever. We delivered turkeys, Bibles and prayer to 450 homes. - We provided Estate Planning Clinics to the community through Christian Legal Clinics of Philadelphia. Many people from the community met with attorneysand notaries leaving the church with free: Last Will and Testaments, Health Care Power of Attorney and Financial Power of Attorney documents. - We provided 50 children Christmas gifts through Operation Christmas Child. - We made "Blessing Bags" filled with gospel tracts, toiletries and snacks that were handed out to the needy in our community. - We implemented a Sunday morning kids program at NHP on November 3rd. - Our men's (Tuesday nights) and ladies ( 1st & 3rd Saturday's) Bible studies / support groups are bearing much fruit and growing. - We hired Travis Foster to be our New full-time Director of Urban Ministry. For the previous five years, Travis was a residential intern in our addictionrecovery program. - Two of our previous interns and Discipleship Leaders (Steven Davis and CJ Rodgers) were married to godly women. Pastor Bill had the pleasure ofofficiating their weddings.
