We search out, discover, record, and produce music that might not otherwise be heard beyond the artist's family and community. It's our intention to support the dreams of artists from nontraditional backgrounds, who are working in genres with deep roots in American culture. A nationally-recognized label that represents and amplifies a variety of musical genres, Little Village covers all production costs, musicians, studio time, promotion and manufacturing. Unlike a traditional record label, artists own all of their intellectual property and retain all proceeds from music sales. In 2023 we produced 9 albums, with artists across the U.S. The music spanned several genres including blues, soul, rock, funk, gospel, as well as a jazz orchestra playing old cartoon soundtracks. Of the $257,579 spent on direct program expenses, $51,078 went to musicians, while the remaining covered the expenses of producing and promoting the music on behalf of the musicians.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2023 – Dec 31, 2023Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$257KProgram 1 [2024]
