Statement of Program Service Accomplishments Moyo conducted a series of free online workshops for women journey with cancer. Because Cancer is ravaging the black population, the Love Letters to Our Bodies project targeted African American and Black women from the African diaspora. The women were guided through a series of exercises, dynamic polls, contemplations, and journaling. To reclaim a sense of agency, the women wrote Love Letters to their bodies. The letters were assembled and published in a booklet and audio recording. The workshop participants were African American women ranging in age from 40 -72 years. Two participants identified as Buddhists, two as Catholics, one as Spiritual - non- religious, and the remaining 16 identified as Christians. Most of the women were cancer survivors or patients. One attendee was a family member who lost two sisters to aggressive cancers. Two women, who did not submit Love Letters worked for the American Cancer Society. Five women were very low income ranging from under $25,000 to less than $47,000; six between $50,000 - $65,000; six women had income more than $65,000; four declined to state their income.
