During 2022 Writing Through conducted 27 separate workshops across Cambodia Singapore and the United States while also expanding into Mexico. These workshops were run by seven different Facilitators some facilitating multiple workshops six shadows assisted; they were held for sixteen different partner organizations. We also held a free online workshop on World Mental Health Day and one community workshop in Siem Reap open to the public. In 2022 we added eight new partner organizations. We also produced and aired the first season of our podcast From the Magic Pencil. Sue Guiney also gave a lecture to writing students at Wesleyan University further strengthening our connection with that institution. The team also worked on a research project with the math department of the University of Southampton in the UK which sought to develop an algorithm by which poetry can be assessed for linguistic progress.
