Creative Facilitator Training
JSP’s Creative Facilitator Training (CFT) is a two-year program that combines the development of a deep personal practice in the Jewish studio Process with training in JSP’s dynamic mode of facilitation. Upon completion of CFT, participants will be equipped to facilitate the Jewish Studio Process in their communities, as well as integrate the core values and practices of the work to help them bring greater imagination, intuition and spiritual connection to all aspects of their lives. At the culmination of CFT, Fellows will be invited to join the JSP Facilitator Network.GeographiesSan Francisco, CA, USA;Berkeley, CA, USA;Marin County, CA, USA;Oakland, CA, USA;Los Angeles, CA, USA;Portland, OR, USA;Pacifica, CA, USA;Cleveland, OH, USA;Brooklyn, NY, USA;Seattle, WA, USA;Bethesda, MD, USA;Toronto, ON, Canada;Philadelphia, PA, USA;Raleigh, NC, USA;Boston, MA, USA;Newton, MA, USA;Corvallis, OR, USA;Pittsburgh, PA, USA;El Cerrito, CA 94530, USA;Cincinnati, OH, USA;Fairview, NC 28730, USA;Detroit, MI, USA;Somerville, MA, USA;Boulder, CO, USA;Chesterfield, MO, USA;Richmond, CA, USA;Long Beach, CA, USA;Jerusalem, Israel;Bloomfield, CT, USA;Minneapolis, MN, USA;Tempe, AZ, USA;Leicester, NC 28748, USADatesNot indicatedSourceUser-generatedArts education,Artist's services,Traditional knowledge,Public arts,Drawing,Painting,Social work education,Vocational post-secondary education,Support groups,Art and music therapy,Conservative Judaism,Reconstructionist Judaism,Reform Judaism,Psychology and behavioral scienceAdults,LGBTQ people,Conservative Jews,Reconstructionist Jews,Reform Jews,Secular groups164–Creative Process — Public Programs Online
Grounded in our core methodology, the Jewish Studio Process, JSP programs help activate the inherent creativity that lives inside each and every one of us. Four recurring drop-in workshop series, free and no experience required. Cultivating creativity is a core competency for navigating the challenges and harnessing the potential of our time. Creativity is the wellspring of our deepest power and among the best tools we have for exploring, adapting, and bringing forth new ways to thrive in our ever-changing world. Creativity is inherent within all of us, yet we live in a society in which most of us are cut off from this essential part of who we are. This is a crisis of spirit and imagination. Jewish Studio Project (JSP) exists to address this profound need. The Jewish Studio Process builds resilience and empathy, activates prophetic imagination, and inspires new approaches to society’s most pressing problems through the synergy of Jewish learning and creative practice. Bold thought leadership rooted in Jewish wisdom that lifts up creativity as an essential human capacity for spiritual connection and social transformation. Torah of Creativity is a new lens on Jewish text and tradition that lifts up creativity as an essential human capacity, providing the means to help us investigate uncertainty, cultivate curiosity, process complexity, and activate the power of our imagination to generate new possibilities. JSP amplifies the Torah of Creativity through strategic organizational partnerships, published thought pieces, podcasts, workshops and classes, and speaking engagements. In 2022, JSP reached over 18,000 people and is consistently being called upon by Jewish educators, spiritual leaders and organizational leaders as a resource for cultivating creativity in their lives and work. Rabbi Adina Allen’s forthcoming book, A Torah of Creativity, is currently in the editing phase and we expect publication details to be public in the second half of 2023.GeographiesUnited StatesDatesNot indicatedSourceUser-generatedArtist's services,Arts education,Traditional knowledge,Public arts,Drawing,Painting,Interfaith,Conservative Judaism,Reconstructionist Judaism,Reform Judaism,SpiritualityAdults,LGBTQ people,Jewish people12K–
