  • Frio River Cleanup Initiative

    We organized the first Frio River trash cleanup in five years. We had approximately 45 volunteers take sections of the river to collect trash. We then had a celebratory BBQ with small awards.

  • Highway Clean-Up Initiative

    Each quarter we collected trash along Highways 83 and 55 in Real County. Volunteer numbers ranged from 32 for the 2nd quarter when we had students from the local high school help to earn service hours to as few as 6 for Q3

  • Recycling Support Program

    We pulled our recycling trailer to the local Food Bank distribution 10 times, (every month except July and August). We collected cardboard, aluminum cans, and plastics and then drove the trailer to the Utopia Texas recycling center.
