  • Amazi Kuri Bose Water Initiative

    Amazi Water (AW) is a Texas-based, Christ-centered, Burundi-registered non-profit development organization with a mission to serve and equip the people of Burundi. AW is the primary in-country partner for clean water projects. Collaborating with others, we are supporting effort to provide sustainable water access for every Burundian community. Through our primary program, Amazi Kuri Bose, meaning "water for everyone", we are coordinating with the government to help ensure that water is available in each village in the country. The IMF consistently ranks Burundi among, or as, the lowest per capita GDP. Political and ethnic conflict has had a negative impact on the country's development in the past few decades.
