  • Hope Academy Academic Support

    In 2024, Hope Academy provided academic instruction and wraparound support to over 150 students from low-income immigrant and refugee families. The program employed certified educators, paraprofessionals, and bilingual aides. Key Accomplishments: Delivered a full academic curriculum with emphasis on literacy, STEM, and language development. Provided over 32,000 hours of instruction supported by staff and volunteers. Distributed tuition assistance and family scholarships totaling over $85,000, ensuring access regardless of financial status. Continued facility and safety upgrades to support DCYF licensing and long-term capital development. The H.E.L.L.O. Program provides after-school and out-of-school learning for K-8 & youth focused on academic enrichment, mentoring, and creative leadership. In 2024, the program reached 120 students through homework support, STEAM clubs, arts activities, and field experiences. Key Accomplishments: Delivered over 6,500 hours of after-school instruction and mentoring. Provided daily snacks and meals through community partnerships. Engaged families in bilingual literacy and parenting workshops. Supported youth-led community service projects and leadership circles. HopeWorks empowers youth ages 14-24 through cohort-based mentorship, professional development, and workforce readiness programs. In 2024, HopeWorks supported 95 youth participants in quarterly cohorts focused on leadership, civic engagement, and entrepreneurship. Key Accomplishments: Hosted 16 professional skill-building workshops in partnership with local agencies. Provided individualized mentorship and mental health support through Healing Circles. Placed 20 youth in internships or employment pathways with community partners. Piloted the Youth Policy & Leadership Fellowship to develop next-generation changemakers.
