  • Grief Support Camping Trips

    Provided multi-day camping trips for grieving teens, young adults, families. These overnight trips included backpacking, car camping, day hikes and facilitated peer grief support led by trained and experienced guides. We served 32 adults and 63 youth for a total of 5616 participant hours. All services were provided free of charge to participants.

  • Grief Support Day Hikes

    Organized and led grief support day hikes in western Washington State, including several hikes led entirely in Spanish. Hike guides are trained and experienced in grief support and outdoor leadership. These day programs served 111 adults and 109 youth for a total of 895 participant hours. All services were provided free of charge.

  • Community Grief Support Resources

    Provided community resources for dealing with grief as well as removing barriers to access and expanding equity in grief support. Activities included online support groups, information sessions and outreach, assistance to help underserved participants access our programs, and referrals to other grief resources. Also published original online content including self-guided grief hikes, exercises for centering in nature, posts about ways to cope with grief and curated other resources for grief support. All services provided free of charge.
