    Cura Smiles operates a free dental clinic on Tuesdays and Thursdays in an under-served community of City Heights, San Diego. The clinic was constructed and equipped with five dental chairs and provides basic dental care, including examinations, x-rays, extractions, filling and cleanings. It has provided over $60,000 in free dental services to many underserved individuals. Cura Smiles also has a collaboration with Point Loma Nazarene University to educate and train pre-dental students through a dental education program while providing services. The clinic continues to build the student training program and number of volunteer dental professionals.

    CURA SMILES OPERATES A FREE DENTAL CLINIC IN THE UNDER-SERVED COMMUNITY OF CITY HEIGHTS, LOCATED IN SAN DIEGO, CA. THE CLINIC WAS CONSTRUCTED AND EQUIPPED WITH FIVE DENTAL CHAIRS AND PROVIDES BASIC DENTAL CARE, INCLUDING EXAMINATIONS, X-RAYS, EXTRACTIONS, FILLINGS AND CLEANING. THE CURA SMILES DENTAL PROFESSIONALS PERFORMED OVER 255,000 IN FREE PROCEDURES. 1,350 PROCEDURES WERE PERFORMED FOR THE PATIENTS. 251 PATIENTS WERE TREATED AT CURA SMILES CLINIC DURING 2023. THERE WERE 19 STUDENT VOLUNTEERS THROUGHOUT 2023 ALONG WITH 19 DENTAL PROFESSIONAL. THESE 38 VOLUNTEERS COMPLETED OVER 1,250 HOURS OF SERVICE AT THE CURA SMILES CLINIC.
