Women's Transition Support Program
Center for Women is a 30-bed residential facility for currently incarcerated women who are serving the final 1-3 years of their prison sentence. The Center helps women successfully transition from prison back into the community while upholding the standards of the NC Dpeartment of Public Safety. The program design models the Norwegian prison model. Program components include work release, education, volunteer participation, behavioral health counseling + substance use disorder, domestic violence treatment, financial literacy and family reunification. Employment Support
LifeWorks! provides people with criminal records a variety of resources and tools to reach their professional and personal goals. Program components include: employment readiness, soft skills, employment networking, job retention,community health supports, trauma and substance use treatment, criminal thinking behavioral assessment, personal goal-setting and tracking, client advisement, transportation assistance, and basic needs referrals.
