    ADVOCACY - AB2768: CAPSES CO-SPONSORED ALONGSIDE ASSEMBLYMEMBER MARC BERMAN FOR AB2768. A BILL TO SUPPORT ADEQUATE STAFFING FOR SPECIAL EDUCATION STUDENTS. WHILE THE MEASURE SUCCESSFULLY PASSED THE ASSEMBLY, IT WAS LEFT IN SUSPENSE BY THE DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE. WORKABILITY FUNDING: CAPSES HAS HELD MANY INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP MEETINGS REGARDING THE WORKABILITY FUNDING CHANGE. OUR GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS COMMITTEE HAS BEEN TIRELESSLY TRYING TO ENGAGE THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION AND LAWMAKERS IN FINDING THE BEST SOLUTIONS AND ASSURANCES TO THIS NEW CHANGE.
