THE FOUNDATION HAD ITS FIFTH LARGEST YEAR OF DONATIONS, DESPITE THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC. IT MADE GRANTS IN THE AMOUNT OF $658,877, WHICH INCLUDED A $565,676 GRANT TO FULTON COUNTY MEDICAL CENTER. The community did it again! Individuals, businesses and organizations helped Fulton County Medical Center Foundation raise over a half-million dollars for the eighth consecutive year. Grants to FCMCMoreover, the FCMC Foundation granted over to the Medical Center $692,590 (fourth largest amount in the last eight years) for programs, services and equipment, with the largest gift of $492,305.27 for the renovation of LongTerm Care. Over the past five years, $3,372,259 has been granted to FCMC; over the past 10 years, $6,690,502 and since the Foundation was formed in 2008, an impressive $9,949,328 has been granted to FCMC.Scholarship ProgramThe FCMC Scholarship program awarded $48,000 (second highest amount) to 23 students. The program gained two named scholarships -The Deborah J. D'Amelio, RN scholarship that was endowed by Dr. Frank D'Amelio, MD, in memory of his wife. The Loy E.
