    Maintaining the John Page Turner Community House as a center in which these events are conducted. It is also available to other community organizations for conducting other events benefiting residents of the Town of The Plains. During the Covid quarantine and remaote learning periods, it has been utilized as an internet hot spot and Internet Cafe to provide high speed internet access to enable public school students' remote learning and access to homework assignments. Our rural area does not have broadband access available to a substantial number of households.
