    The organization distributes food one day a month to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity We are a member of the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank BRAFB in partnership with Feeding America We receive donations of food from the BRAFB local food businesses churches and other donors We also purchase food to supplement the donations we receive which is our primary expense All expenses are incurred for our primary exempt purpose and all labor is uncompensated ie all labor is provided by volunteers In 2025 we served an aggregate of 4539 individuals a 13 increase compared to 2024 During late 2025 we moved our operations to a new facility and acquired a new building and equipment These acquisitions allowed us to greatly improve our ability to serve a growing number of clients by significantly increasing food storage capacity while also providing for safer access to our facility
