Trauma-Informed Acupuncture Training
This program trains acupuncturists nationally and internationally to provide trauma treatment services to survivors of natural and human disasters Trained approximately 500 acupuncturists in the United States and internationally in trauma recovery and field protocols preparedmentored them to launch disaster recovery efforts and trained them to establish trauma-informed care service projects in their communities Supported field training for ten local midwives in Mexico to learn trauma reduction treatment methodologies Provided online and in person trainings Amsterdam NL on integrative medicine and trauma-informed care to health care practitioners throughout the European Union and United Kingdom who are working with refugees and displaced people from Ukraine the Middle East and Africa Provided live webinars on topics of interest for acupuncturists and other health professionals that provide trauma-informed care in vulnerable communities in the US and internationallyAWB Trauma-Informed Care Training - This program trains acupuncturists and other qualified health practitioners nationally and internationally to provide trauma treatment services to survivors of natural and human-created disasters. AWB trained approximately 430 acupuncturists in the United States and internationally in trauma recovery and field protocols mentored them to launch disaster recovery efforts and trained them to establish trauma-informed care service projects in their communities. 4b International Community Clinics - This program supports the development of local community service clinics internationally that provide ongoing trauma treatments to vulnerable populations impacted by traumatic events.
