  • Photo and Illustration Contest

    Hold photo and illustration contest whose entries feature activities, historic structures, plants and animals within William B. Umstead State Park. The winners are displays in an exhibit in the Visitor Center. The opening of the Visitor Center exhibit is concurrent with an award ceremony for the winners. The winners are also featured in an annual photo calendar.
