TO ACOMPLISH ITS PURPOSE, THE VP FOUNDATION SPONSORS RESEARCH AND PRODUCES EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES ON TREATMENTS AND RECOVERY. THE PRIMARY RESOURCES ARE TWICE-YEARLY ISSUES OF THE VP FOUNDATION NEWSLETTER, UPDATED EDITIONS OF THE LOW OXALATE COOKBOOK, AND A POPULAR WEB SITE (WWW.THEVPFOUNDATION.ORG). THE VP FOUNDATION ALSO COORDINATES A NETWORK OF SUPPORT FOR ITS MEMBERS. IT IS MANNED BY VOLUNTEERS WHO RECOVERED FROM LONG-STANDING PAIN THROUGH A LARGE RESEARCH STUDY (3,700 PARTICIPANTS) SPONSORED BY THE VP FOUNDATION (1992-2007).
