    Mission Ministries Alliance provides a full continuum of services to individuals and families experiencing homelessness in McDowell County, North Carolina. Our programs include low-barrier emergency shelters for men, women, and children, a transitional living home for men, street outreach, housing navigation, stabilization support, and Peer Support services to assist individuals in recovery from substance use and co-occurring disorders.

  • Program 2 [2025]

    During the filing year, MMA served 387 individuals across all programs, meeting immediate basic needs while helping clients work toward long-term stability. More than 15,000 nights of shelter were provided across our programs. We also provided financial assistance to 39 households through our Rapid Rehousing program, supporting them in securing and maintaining permanent housing. Additionally, we engaged 113 individuals living unsheltered through daily outreach and helped many access safe shelter, healthcare, and behavioral health resources.
