    During2021,COVID19precautionsprohibitedgroupactivitiesthattheorganizationwouldtypicallyhaveconducted.WedidhostthefollowingfreeeventsatthePlaygroundforthechildrenandfamiliesinthecommunity:CounttheBirdsatKT;KidsTogetherbirthdaycelebration.Volunteersspentseveralhoursduringthesummerhand-weedingatthePlayground.MembersoftheKidsTogetherBoardconductedbi-monthlymonitoringoftheplaygroundfacilitiesandprovidedtheirreportstotheTownstaff.

  • Program 1 [2024]

    Hosted four free events at the playground to the general public. Participation varied typically estimated 30 children on average per event. Themes included celebrating the community effort that led to the playgrounds opening and observing nature.

  • Program 2 [2024]

    Fundraising activities specifically support additions to the playground. Our annual Walk Run and Roll for Inclusive Play celebrates the inclusive spirit of the playground. Proceeds are designated for all playground improvements. Through the Engraved Brick Program donors contribute to have an engraved brick installed at the playground. In 2024 13 bricks were installed in this program.
