Head Start Program
Head Start is a federally funded program for low income children ages three to five and their families. Head Start provides a developmentally appropriate learning environment for the children and a supportive atmosphere for the parents. Rocognizing that the parents are a child's first teacher. Energy Assistance Program provides a one time annual assistance payment for eligible low income families. These funds are available during the winter season each year and are provided through the Georgia Department of Human Services. This program also contains an emergency energy component.
