    Main Stage Productions: Atlanta Shakespeare company (ASC) is in production 51 weeks out of the year, presenting a new play every month, for a total of 254 performances. We presented nine plays by Shakespeare: A Midsummer Night's Dream, Much Ado About Nothing, MacBeth, Romeo and Juliet, As You Like It, The Merchant of Venice, The Tempest, The Merry Wives of Windsor, and Pericles. We also presented A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens, Sherwood: The Adventures of Robin Hood by Ken Ludwig, and a World Premiere of a new play, By My Will, by Douglas Post. CONTINUED ON SCH O.

  • Educational Programming

    Educational Programming: Our Educational programming includes 60 minute in-school and digital performances of Shakespeare Plays, in class Residencies, Playshops, Shakesploration Days, Summer Camps, and full-length Student Matinee performances at the Shakespeare Tavern Playhouse. 60-minute digital touring productions include R&J:60, Much Ado:60, and Midsummer Jr. During 2022-2023, we offered student matinee performances of MacBeth, A Christmas Carol, Romeo and Juliet, Much Ado About Nothing, The Tempest, A Christmas Carol, and As You Like It.
