Residential Services - offers six single-family group homes for adults on its 32-acre main campus in Sarasota with each home serving eight to nine clients, two additional homes have been completed and will be occupied in the third quarter of fiscal 2025. Focusing on individual strengths and preferences, The Haven creates personalized plans that promote independence while offering the necessary assistance to meet residents evolving needs including a nursing staff that ensures health needs are continuously monitored and addressed. The program is designed to be a residents home for life, providing a stable and supportive environment in a caring community that prioritizes everyones well-being and personal growth. Adult Day Training (ADT) - provides adults with a wide range of abilities (210 at the main campus and 80 at the Vence campus), opportunities for personal growth, skill development, and community integration. This program focuses on promoting independence and enhancing the quality of life for participants through a variety of engaging and purposeful activities in a structured yet flexible environment that encourages the development of essential life skills, including communication, socialization, and job readiness. Activities include vocational training, recreational opportunities, art, music, and life skills workshops, all tailored to meet each individuals needs and goals. Participants frequently engage in community outings, service projects, and volunteering at other nonprofits. Selby Preschool - provides 66 students, ages one through five, with a high-quality, early childhood education. Classrooms are inclusive, meaning that typically developing children and children with special needs are taught together in the same setting. Each class is designed to meet the educational, therapeutic, and emotional needs of the student. Students have access to high- quality therapy such as physical, occupational, speech, music, and aquatic therapies during their school day through our on-site partnership with The KidSpot. The program collaborates closely with both the Manatee and Sarasota school systems, as well as the Sarasota and Manatee Early Learning Coalitions to ensure that programming is accessible to all students regardless of their financial situation.
