Emergency Services and Transitional Housing
Funding of programs at Lake Wales Care Center. The Care Center spent $31,426 on emergency services for 75 families who live in Lake Wales and who are required to meet with a case manager weekly. Funds were spend on various needs from mortgage relief or rent, utilities, fuel, lodging and travel aid, medical assistance and prescriptions, store vouchers to the Thrift Center and food boxes from the Care Center pantry. Also, $22896 was granted to sponsor 3 Transitional Housing units for Lake Wales Residents.
