Constructs affordable homes, with over 3,000 volunteer hours and donated materials, for deserving low to moderate income families. Utilizing available affordable homeownership mortgage products and homeowner education resources, our staff originates and services the new homeowner's financing needs. To date, West Volusia Habitat for Humanity has placed 101 families into a home of their own. Every new homeowner has contributed 300 hours of sweet equity, attended financia education classes, and made a cash downpayment towards their home. West Volusia Habitat for Humanity adheres to a strict non-proselytizin policy and will not offer assistance on the expressed or implied condi tion to convert or listen to an inducement to a particular faith.
