We follow evidence based practices:Developed through years of research and evaluation, KLM utilizes best practices. Models of best practice programs have been adopted from Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and Texas. It has been proven that the most effective organizations provide programs while the individual is incarcerated, in order to 'capture their attention, and continues to provide the program upon their release. Most importantly, housing, employment, transportation, and other related items are provided to the individual upon release, so they have the tools to succeed, instead of going back to being homeless or hanging out on the same street corner as they did prior to their incarceration. KLM is one of the only programs in the area that provides all three aspects, making it unique and extremely important for our community. This research study revealed that in an almost four year period, KLM saved taxpayers almost $8 million and lowered recidivism rates by 18% in comparison to the other program tier in the RCJ.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2022 – Dec 31, 2022Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$0
